Field of application

The press is designed to press and bend metal.

When the eccentric press was introduced it outshone its competitors with its highly efficient handling. The press was raised and lowered with a pedal, so that both hands were free to handle the workpiece in the press. Many years were still to pass before safety devices to prevent crush injuries were considered. The press always stopped in the upper position. The press cost about SEK 400 when it was purchased in 1885
