History

At the launch, the eccentric press surpassed its competitors through a very efficient operation. Rising and lowering of the press occurred with foot pedal, which meant that both hands were free to handle the piece in the press. Some protective devices to prevent squeezing damage were not found and was not be taken into consideration for many years. The press always stayed in its highest position.
The press cost 400 SEK in purchase in 1885.

The press is available at Clarion Collection Hotell Bolinder-Munktell.
